Non-Published Listing

Non-published service is a listing that is omitted from the White Pages (WP) and the Directory Assistance database. The listing is not excluded from display on Calling Name or Calling Number.

Non-Listed Listing

A Non-listed service listing is listed on directory assistance but omitted from the white pages telephone directory. The listings are not excluded from display on Calling Name or Calling Number ID.

Non-Listed Additional Listing

A Non-Listed Additional Listing is included in directory assistance but omitted from the White Pages telephone directory. The listing will not be excluded from the display on Calling Name or Calling Number ID. Currently, in SBC a Non-Listed Number is available; however, this only applies to the Main Listing.

If, for example, you do not want a separate listing in the phonebook but wants a spouse to be listed in directory assistance, a Non-Listed Additional Listing may be requested.

Foreign Listing

If you wish to be listed in White Page directories outside the local calling area may request a Foreign Listing. The customer is charged the Foreign Listing rate for the state in which the listing appears.

There are two types of Foreign Listings within SBC territory customers may request:

· Foreign Additional Listings in other SBC directories within the same state as the local service.

· Foreign Additional Listings in another SBC state where SBC publishes directories.

Additional Main Listing (Distinctive Ring Number)

If you would like to list the name of another person, firm, or corporation not on record, an Additional Main Listing (AML) may be requested for a Personalized Ring Number

Following is an example of an Additional Main Listing:
    Doe, John (555) 555-5555
    ABC Company (555) 555-4444

Alternate Listing

Along with a Primary Number, if you need to direct callers to an alternate number may request an Alternate Listing. The alternate telephone number may be a listed residence number, a listed business number, or the number of another customer. If the telephone number of another Birch customer is used, the other customer must agree to its use.

A telephone number that has already been established as non-published cannot be used as an Alternate Number.

Following is an example of an Alternate Listing:
   Doe, John MD 123 Main 77061…(555) 555-5555
    If no answer call…………..(555) 555-4444

Extra Line Listing

You may request an Extra Line Listing to identify the proper number, dialing instructions, or to indicate calling restrictions. This listing type is indented and can only be set up as a caption, even if the listing consists only of the customer’s name, address, Extra Line Listing information, and telephone number.

An Extra Line Listing appears in the White Pages on a separate line between the listed name and address. This listing type consists of five words or less; however, should the customer require more than five words to properly direct calls, additional extra lines are billed. If the customer requests separate lines consisting of less than five words, the extra line charge will apply to each line. Each word in an Extra Line Listing is spelled in full.

Following is an example of an Extra Line Listing:

Supplemental Address Information

A Supplemental Address Charge applies when you request that additional information appear with the primary listed address in the White Pages. This includes information such as an apartment number, building number, room number, or suite number.

Following is an example of Supplemental Address Information:

   3257 Sunshine, Apt 13
   (555) 555-5555

Additional Listing – Hunt Number Group Listing

The telephone number of a line in addition to the first line of a rotary number group is an Additional Listing in a Hunt Number Group.

Note: An Additional Listing – Hunt Number Group Listing is not offered to Residential Customers.

Caption Listing

You may request a Caption Listing, which simplifies the appearance of the listing by providing a caption header and indented listings.

Following is an example of a Caption Listing:
   Kansas City Royals Baseball Club –
      General Office…………..816-777-1000
      Royals Clubhouse Store…816-777-1080

Secondary Listing

If you are located in one White Page directory area you may request a listing in other telephone directories to ensure complete directory coverage. The NXX will determine the additional listing coverage. For example, if a customer has a Fort Worth number that enables them to call Dallas toll free, the customer is entitled to a listing in Fort Worth (primary) and the Dallas (secondary) White Pages without an additional listing charge.
