Windows XP dial-up configuration instructions

• Click on Start
  
  
  
  
• Click on My Network Places.
  
  
  
  
  
• Click on View Network Connections.
  
  
  
  
  
• Click on Create a new Connection (this will bring up a Connection Wizard).
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Select Connect to the Internet. Then click Next
  
  
• Select Setup my connection manually.Then click Next.
  
  
  
  
  

• Select Connect using a dial-up modem then Click Next.
  
  
  

 

• Enter Birch Internet in the ISP Name text box then Click Next.
  
  
  
  
  
• Enter your local access number in the phone number text box. For example, if you live in Tulsa, chose the Tulsa number from the list.
  
  
  
  
  
• Enter your user name and password confirm password.
  
  
• Click Next, then Finish.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Right click on the Birch Internet icon and Select create a short cut.
  
  
• Type in your User name and Password in lower case.
  
  
• Click Connect.
