1. Dial *98 from your line that carries the voice mail box. The attendant will ask you for your phone number and your PIN. The default PIN is your 10-digit Birch phone number


2. Choose a 6-15 digit PIN code.


3. An automated attendant will guide you through setting up your new PIN, record personal and busy-line greetings, and record a name announcement. Voice prompts will guide you through each step.


4. Once the mailbox is established, you will then be able to access your mail­box from any telephone line. Simply press * when the mailbox picks up.

You are now ready to use your voice mail.

 

You can check your messages anytime, from anywhere, by following these steps:

1. Call your own phone number and let it ring to your voice mail.


2. When your greeting begins playing, interrupt it by pressing the * key.


3. Enter your password when prompted.
   

You are now ready to hear your voice messages.
